No phone number needed
Sign up with a username. Your number stays yours.
Hushpiper doesn't ask for your phone number. You sign up with a username and a password, and that's your account.
- Add people your way: share your contact link, tell them your username, or show your QR code and let them scan it (or scan theirs).
- Keep strangers out: with a contact PIN, people need your PIN or your contact link before they can start a chat with you.
- Sign in on a computer with your phone: scan the code on the computer's screen and say yes.
When you sign up you get a 12-word recovery phrase. Write it down and keep it safe: with it you can set a new password and sign in on a new device, with no text message needed.
