Groups and communities
Polls and events in groups, and communities to bring groups together.
Groups have replies, reactions, photos, polls and events. Their owner and admins set their privacy rules, down to who can see the member list, and a group can even give everyone anonymous nicknames instead of names.
- Communities bring several groups together. Only a community's admins post its announcements, and everyone in it can see its other groups and join them. Start one with New chat > New community, name it and pick groups you run.
- Catching up: when you add someone to a group, you can show them the last 50 messages (never in chats whose messages disappear).
Like every chat, groups are end-to-end encrypted.
